Braintech’s line of products started with eVisionFactory™ (eVF™), a vision-guided robotics software platform for industrial applications, including materials handling, part assembly, part inspection and code reading.
eVF has since developed to include several new technologies. SC3D™ uses single camera 3D technology for part recognition and location. SL3D™ adds structured light projections (laser light) to create part features for smooth objects and retrieve 3D information. eVF also includes the first fully random bin picking (RBP™) system for picking parts from jumbled bins. Braintech has also expanded into the consumer and service markets with VOLTS-IQ™ by applying the same vision technology principles to create a suite of vision services for Microsoft Robotics Studio.
